The top brands nowadays are Hollister, American Eagle, and Aeropostale. These are all teen clothing stores, but if ur older some of the most popular brands are the Gap and Anne Taylor Loft.

Unless you live in the top 1% fashion is not an issue. Well if your a teenager it might be they have a thing for labels. Everyone else wears what is appropriate and what is comfortable.
