Me and my boyfriend have been together for two years he has a child with his ex and they both call eachother darl and babe. He says there is nothing in it and he just says it cos she does. I know he doesn’t have feelings for her but I hate the fact that he calls her that, am I just being stupid...he thinks I am. It just drives me crazy when he calls her babe especially in front of me. Does anyone else agree that its not right?

I personally wouldn't stand for it. How would he feel if you started calling your ex darling and babe?

Hell yes I agree! That's bullshit! I dint care what he says, that has got to stop. Not only is it completely inappropriate it is downright disrespectful to you if he does it in front of you let alone at all! My god women, put a stop to this! she needs to stop calling him that as well, kids or no kids it doesn't matter. You deserve more respect and if he says your being silly or making a big deal about it you start calling his friends and your exes bade and darl and see his reaction then!

YES IT IS!!!!!!!!! You in a relationship with him so he should respect that you do not like that he is calling his ex babe!!! babe and honey is a loving and endearing term that you use on someone you actually care about!!!! Using the term loosly not good!!!! Ask him how he would feel if you call your ex babe or honey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, he is disrespecting you.
There are feelings between them that have not been resolved and may never be.
Give him a choice, either he stops with the pet names or he gets out of your life.

I totally agree that this is not right. If he can't see that its his ex's way of trying to get him back and makeing you mad just show him this. I am sure others will agree with me.
