The reason cell phones got invented is because people wanted to talk to their friends and family. I mean, you could talk to them on your home phone,except if you are driving or something, you might want to call them and if you didn't have a cell phone you couldn't. Cell phones are quite great if you ask me.

Because people speeding in their 5 ton SUV's while holding a coke in one hand, smoking a cigarette and adjusting the radio with the other, were not nearly distracted or dangerous enough.

That's why cell phones was invented.
