They're called Heelys. Check this website for your local stockist.

And we're not being asked whether we approve or disapprove - I don't think much of them either. I'm just answering the question.

Woolworths sell wheels that can be attatched to your shoes, the ones enbedded in trainers can be found in skate shops and are called heelys. There has been a lot of talk about how dangerous they are but like many things it is not the wheels but the actions of the person wearing them that is dangerous!

Don't buy them! we saw these in the USA some years ago and considered getting some for grand-kids but were told by the shop assistant that they were very dangerous...kids falling over and hurting themselves really bad. Indeed, there is a warning to this effect on the box!!!

The bloody things should be banned,a couple of weeks ago a couple of kids were in our local supermarket wearing these things with their simpleton of a mother, one of the kids hit an old man who fell on the floor, the mother of this kid played hell with the old man for not seeing him!

www.heeleysdealer.co.uk (as you know).
Just from a safety and medical point of view (which i heard on radio). they are extremely bad for joints as when on the wheels have no control over front of foot.
If you get them - be careful!
