Trust is on you, not them. Its called faith.
...and then kicking their butt to the curb if they abuse that trust. ;)

Trusting someone goes hand-in-hand with common sense. Its good to keep the brain going regardless of what emotions say to do. And trusting someone with your pet rock is different than trusting someone with your bank account information.

You can't. You can trust but you can't be sure that trust will be reciprocated. It's the human nature. Get to know your friends, there are real friends and there are people who just want to take whatever they can from you. As awful as this may sound, this is how it is.
