I've tried dozens of brands of ballpoint pens, but after a few days, they all stop functioning, even though the ink cartridge is relatively full!

why is that?

is there a way to repair them?

Usually when your pen stops working the ink is all dried up or the ball is stuck beacause the ink at the tip is dried up. You can disassemble the pen and blow through the part of the ink tube and write for a little bit then put it back together. You can also push the tip of the pen really hard on something(to break the ball free).

Hold the end of the pen under a flame (lighter) for a second. Repeat as needed.
