Rap is a unique style of music. It helps to get some peoples feelings out, or it's just out there for a good time. The stuff that seems to not make sense is most of the time for a good time. The stuff that sounds sad is just to get their feelings out.

I thought it was spelled with a Hard E
because that is what is happening to the music industry because of it !! To call these people musicians is an outright outrage !!
It is cultural POETRY set to music no more and no less !! It's like entering mud pies in a baking contest !!

But remember, Mozart was thought of as trash.
Elvis was scoffed and ridiculed.
The Beatles were the object of record burnings.
C Rap will probably not attain the status of them, not in my neighborhood, anyway. But it is here to stay.

lol....I agree rap has no real meaning. But also other music is just as worse like ska, reggae, metal, punk, alternative, etc etc. I agree with the musician. Classical, Jazz, Latin jazz, Smooth jazz etc etc.
