i aimed for side splits and chinese splits with practice on my own i did them both, i became more flexibile i also worked on my hand/feet coordination, what should i practice or aim for now that will help me become a better dancer?
btw, i have strong determination and i believe i can do anything if i put my head to it.

chinese split is the split u do facing forward and your legs are on the right and left while the other split is the split you do when one of ur leg is behind you and the other is infront of you.

take lessons. take a bit of ballet, a bit of tap, try all the varieties. learn from them all. Don't get stuck on this or that thing. Yeah, you should have a signature move, but it is better to be well versed in many types and styles than just specializing in one. You do not say what style you like. Really doesn't matter, apply Bruce Lee's philosophy of martial arts, study all the types, and take out what works for you. Toss what does not.

um...i think i need to be asking ur advice. what are chinese splits?
um...now u probably just need to work on performance and possibly rotation.
