What do you do when a child molester/abuser gets away with it?

2 girls are being abused, one sexually molested. The Social Services worker has called the girls liars and even said that some of the abusers actions are not illegal, the police department has "lost" one of the reports and the judge in the case is going to allow the abuser to keep the children and award this person child support. These girls are terrified and have made several reports, only to find out that no one in law enforcement will protect them, they've been made to return to this person's home and then the girls are called liars because they change their stories after they have been with this person (gee, stick a victim in the home of her rapist for 24 hrs and see if her story changes).
Where do we go from here? The abuser is the ex-wife. Is she getting away with this because she's a woman? Are there any agencies that can take this investigation away from local law enforcement? Are there any other legal means by which we can rescue these girls

You need to do all of these tips one after the other in quick secession if your ex gets wind of what you are doing it could make things difficult.
If you can take the children to the doctor and get the doctor to document the abuse.

Talk to the girls teachers.
Find out the number to your local rape crisis center, and ask them for help.
They can get in touch with people who have similar stories, and see if those people are interested in getting together, and documenting just how many times officials have refused to do sufficient follow up on these type cases.

Contact your state's attorney general with all evidence you have in hand.
Especially with the names involved in exploring the girls case.

If this fails the only other option I can think of is write the local media (TV, radio, and newspapers) , but this is dangerous you either need to do it anonymously, or after all other hope is lost.

You may have just go one step closer to saving these girls when you think about it....do you know how many people are going to read this?? Personally I cannot do anything to help but someone out of the millions of people that read this will freak and want something done as well....soon about 30 people will want something done....then 100 people will want something done and then it will be getting the attention that it needs to become somewhat of an investigation I guess you could say.

I am sorry but this sounds more like a case of sour grapes to me than sexual abuse ........you do not mention the age of the girls or how you think they are being abused , but if they are young and you suspect your ex of causing vaginal penatration then that should be evident in a physical . Are you SURE of the abuse or is this more a case of who pays whom ?
If it is please remember that if YOU are coaching these girls to say nasty things about their mother she is not the only one that will lose in the end as your daughters will not forget and in the future it will come back to haunt you .
IYou do not mention what state you live in but most states look for any excuse they can to take children from their parents if there is any substanciated abuse . Please consider carefully what your motives are .

As a mom , Im sorry but id have to kill anyone that did that to my child. Social services is a joke. They do not protect our kids. They let parents abuse and neglect, and turn the other way.
