1st of all you need to take flying lessons, get a light pilots licence, then I think you need to apply to airline companies. I know somebody who is a pilot for easyjet.

First you need a Flying licence which is obtained through a certified
flying school. Then you apply to an airline and obtain a licence as
a commercial pilot, and if approved the job is yours. Not easy and
can be expensive.

Before renting some time at an airfield, try to get some time in a flight simulator (maybe at a science museum) just to get the feel of what flying a plane would be like. It's far safer than just going to an airfield & flying the real thing. If you think you might like it, ask what the next step would be.
