Left arm hurts Right arm Dosen't (REVISED)?

OK, I am a Left side sleeper but now I have to sleep on the right which is not the right side for me, Do you know why??

***UPDATE*** I dont feel the left arm hurting while i am asleep and when I wake up I dont feel it hurting, Do you know why?? ***UPDATE***

I don't know what went before, but in questions like these, It would help if ages are given. For a 17 year old with symptoms like these, it could be so much more different than for say someone who is 50 or over.
