The first time I went to get waxed my esthetician told me to take 2 500mg tylenols an hour before my appointment...
I was prefectly fine (I get brazilians, where all of the hair below your waistline is removed) although I had a few twinges that made me go "ow"
My sister (sho is 3 years younger than I am) had to have the wax stopped half way through.
It all depends on your pain tolerance hun... A suggestion is to trim about a week or two before you go in for your wax and make sure that the person who is doing yours is a licensed esthetician, believe me this is NOT FOR AMATEURS!
I notice that when I go every 6 weeks as scheduled it doesn't hurt at all but if I skip a wax or two it's like having it done the first time all over again.
Suggestions: Tylenol or Ibuprofen an hour before your appt and as needed afterwards, the next day wash the area that you had waxed and use either a loofah or a bath sponge to "scrub" the area to exfoliate and prevent ingrown hairs. Cold compresses also help for the first hour or two when it can feel warm & irritated from the pulling off of the wax. Also ask your esthetician if he or she uses soft or hard wax, if the hard wax is too painful for you having them use the soft wax (wax that is pulled off with strips) is sometimes easier...
Generally within an hour of a wax most people don't even feel anything different (other than the hairlessness :-p)
Hope this helps
Good Luck!

considered one of my classmates has the comparable issue such as you. She would not prefer to wax it or to shave it, yet she discovered something like a powder and a gel that she would be able to apply to decolour the top lip hair. She mixes the powder and the gel and she or he applies the aggregate to all the floor the place the hair is seen. you do no longer could stay too long..in basic terms under 5 min and you will no longer even word which you nonetheless have hair. i think of which you may bypass to a attractiveness salon and to ask them in the event that they be attentive to any call for it so so which you may purchase it. i don't be attentive to the call of it...yet i be attentive to that may not so costly. wish that I helped. All my superb needs to you.
