My favorite female names are the ones I gave my daughters.
Elizabeth (God's promise)
Tiffany (the appearance of God)
Jessica (a gift)
My favorite male names are probably those of relatives. I have no sons.
David (beloved)
Eric (ruler)
I tend to like female names that are clearly feminine, and male names that are clearly masculine. And I like the ones with positive meanings.

Jennifer is a favorite name, it's Welsh It means "fair one" I love it because it's beautiful ! I named my daughter Jennifer.
As for boys names it would have to be John it's from the bible, and it's also a family name, many men (ancestors) in my family are named John. It just seems a good solid, strong stable, common, good name for a man. There are John Walker, and John Combs, (that are my grandfather's) and many many more.
Jennifer \j(e)-nni-fer\ is pronounced JEN-ee-fer, JEN-if-er. It is of Welsh origin, and its meaning is "fair one". Variant of Guinevere. Mythology: in Arthurian tales, Guinevere was Arthur's queen. The name is made popular by film star Jennifer Jones. Literary: Bernard Shaw used the name for the character of Jennifer Dubedat in "The Doctor's Dilemma" (1905). Jenifer is a spelling variant used especially in Cornwall. See also Gaynor and Ginevra. Actresses Jennifer Gray, Jennifer Jones, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jennifer O'Neill, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lopez.
Jennifer has 21 variant forms: Genna, Genni, Gennie, Gennifer, Geniffer, Gennivre, Genny, Jen, Jena, Jenefer, Jeni, Jenifer, Jeniffer, Jenn, Jenna, Jennee, Jenni, Jennica, Jennie, Jenniver and Jenny.

male = Alexander
female = jean
Alexander was ' great ' --- and so was my grandfather -- where the name sits
jean was my mothers name and although it is john in french --- she was no slouch she was the first female in my home country to make it as a female in the printing trade .
why do i like those names --- well i'm obviously biased --- but they are good meaningful names --- and although both have passed away --- they 're names wind me up in an patriotic way --- they were my flesh and blood --- but they were lucky --- they're flesh and blood named them !

Roman or Adrien for a boy and Stella or Veronica for a girl. Don't know what they mean. I'm guessing Roman means from Rome. I just like the way they sound, I guess.
