Best answer % to me is not very accurate in my opinion since it includes unresolved questions. I think open and voting questions automatically slant my percentage down. When I try to compare how I am doing lately against myself, I can't get an accurate idea if I'm doing better or worse because my percentage will naturally go up over time as the ratio unresolved questions grows smaller and smaller. If I want to compare my percentage to others, I can't get an accurate representations for the same reason. I.E. If 50 percent of my resolved answers were best answers (which they aren't), and I had 100 questions, and 50 were unresolved, I would show 25% best answer. If I compared myself with myself later on, or someone else who had 1,000 answers, and 50% of the 9550 answers resolved were best answers, 50 left unresolved, they would show a 47.7% average. Again, best answer isn't the most important thing, but who would like to see this change? Why or Why not?

OK, my stats don't make or break my life like some have suggested, it's just that the best answer percentage stares me in the face every time I look at my Q and A screen early in the morning.
Oh, and to those who think I may have a touch of O.C.D., I think my poor housekeeping skills speak loudly to the contrary. But thanks for not answering anyway :)
