one of my friends seems to want to make my dating life miserable. whenever there's a guy i like, she always seems to like him too, and then she tells me to back off. she told me to stay away from her other guy friends, ones that i have no romantic interest in, and NOW she's going out with my ex boyfriend, and i just broke up with him 3 days ago. a bit controlling huh?
she's done this to me before, and i've had enough. i don't know any ways to make her stop doing it without beating the hell out of her.
so the question is... how do i approach her without blowing up? because she is going to accuse me of being jealous (even though there's nothing to be jealous of, honestly) and all this other crap. what to do?

Do NOTHING! She is not your friend. People don't get what being a friend means and they don't know what having a friend is supposed to feel like. This is not it! Leave her be. Let her do what it is she has to do to prove to her world that she is likeable. You walk with your head held high, be respectable, don't accept anything less than good and carry on! She sounds jealous of you and in some type of competition. Don't play her little game. Be strong, confident, friendly and the guys won't even see her and will be after only you! Having nothing to do with her, there should be no more problems with you and your partner. Oh, and do you care if she is with the ex since you didn't want to be with him? Maybe they deserve one another. You take a higher road with real friends around and real men! Enjoy yourself!

OK. First you need to figure out how much her friendship actually means to you. Personally, i think she sounds like a snobby ***** who tries to make you feel like **** and put you down. I think shes jealous of you that's why shes saying to stay away and back off because she knows your competition! But anyway, that's not my choice, she;s your so called friend. So, once you've figured out how you really feel about her then\en you can go plan how to go about confronting her. If you really couldn't care less anymore tell her straight. Tell her how it is, what do you have to lose?? The truth hurts! If you are worried about keeping her friend hip then you need to sit down and take her out for coffee and just explain how you feel when she speaks and treats you like that. If shes a real friend she will listen without being judgemental and accusing you of being jealous. If shes not, she Will crack it and walk away. Either way it will prove to you whether shes really worth having around if your having second thoughts. You actually in the drivers seat at here!

well wen u think the time is rite...just tell hur....tell hur how u feel and how it is rele getting annoying and making u angry..its better to tell hur in person then on the phone but that is ur pick...so u choose. if she does not stop even after u tell hur than she obvioulsi isnt a good friend. just tell hur that you dont wanna be hur friend any more if she is gunna b that way bcuz a real friend would never do that..i hope it all goes well and that she stops while u guys ar still friends.

She's using you! You're a rug in her eyes. That's not a friend girl! She isn't worth it! Date whoever you want let her date who she wants, but don't get involved with her. By the way these things often run in certain patterns....you are being trashed to all your ex b/f's and to all your potential b/f's! That's the way these predators work!
