For a few years (as a woman) I suffered badly from sweating....(hmm nice!) anyway it turned out to be an under-active thyroid. In the meantime though I used Mitchum for women (they also do a mans version of it) it comes in either roll-on stick or deoderant and they are soooo so effective at fighting sweating odours. I only have experience of the roll-on though, never tried the deoderant. All i know is after years of stinking I had a cure! hope this helps

I can't remember which publication it was in, but I do remember reading that 'Mitchum' came very high in a test for anti-perspirants.

I think it is quite an old brand and I have seen it in Boots and Savers etc.

You can buy maximum strength aluminium hydroxide based anti perspirants from your local chemist. They are also available on prescription. The names are ANHYDROL FORTE and DRICLOR. They are both the same thing. You apply them at night then wash them off in the morning and they vastly reduce the amount you sweat.

Oven cleaner. Put it in your arm pit for half an hour. Then after the burning sensation is unbearable, wipe it off with kitchen roll.

at your local Chemist or Pharmacy, they have ones that are stronger than the commercial varieties.

Remember you need an anti-perspirant, deodorant to stop sweating and smelling. Mitchum has been mentioned and is effective.
