Hey Capricorn. Fantastic sign by the way... I should know.
Don't buy a Dell or Compaq, please! It is cheap in price and you get what you pay for. If you want the best laptop on the market write down what you want from it. From your first computer, what were some of the things you wish you had more of on it? Then go down to your super geek computer store and tell them what you want. Remember it may be costly to get the best but it will last a long time. Technology is always changing and there are always new programs available that computers will need to upgrade to.
I have a Gateway laptop computer. Bill Gates owns the company.
Some Sony Vaio's have Blue-ray burners on it. If you like gaming check out the video card on it G force is good. I would get one with a TDK drive that burns DVD +R/-R Dual layer and CD's, the Windows Vista operating system, 200 GB hard drive, the latest processing chip and the highest Mhz, Wide screen true brite 17" with a built in web cam and ethernet card for wireless access to the internet, at least 4 (2.0 USB ports), memory card slots a touch screen and 10 key pad. You should check out Acer Ferrari http://store.topdealelectronic.com/acfe1012nopc.html
for something like this. Happy hunting.

Toshiba and Sony Vaio are the acceptable. you ought to bypass on their web pages and performance the computing gadget custom outfitted, that way you could %. each and every thing you want (processor, RAM, reveal length, pictures card, battery, etc). it will clarify what each and every issues does, and provide you with countless ideas. it will have the costs listed too, and the finished value will determination in accordance to what ideas you %.. it is really ordinary, and lots a lot less complicated than i'm making it sound. the biggest specs are processor and RAM. For the processor, you ought to make constructive it truly is a center 2 Duo. you ought to have 1GB (1024MB) of RAM now at the very least, yet 2GB is recommended once you're using living house windows Vista. very last year, I went on-line and outfitted similar Toshiba and Sony laptops, and the Toshiba ended up being about $2 hundred more reasonable, so i purchased it. Toshiba also has a quite good assure, and maximum of their laptops have a finger scanner so you might use to signal in which is incredible. shop in ideas, progression a good Toshiba or Vaio is gonna value an upwards of $one thousand. when you're literally not searching to spend that a lot, Acer makes fairly effective laptops for far decrease costs. Dell is o.k., yet maximum of their popularity comes from their merchandising, fairly than their value. i ought to circumvent HP, Gateway and Compaq ... those will be crap in 6 months. And inspite of you do, do no longer purchase any Apple product except the iPod (which, sarcastically, has a Toshiba hardchronic). good success.
