I care for the reasons they hate. If we are so hated, why do these same countries beg us for help? The governments of these people are the source of the hatred. There government controlled media preaches the anti US rhetoric daily. I am not to sure that we are as hated as advertised. Why do so many people from all over the world line up to came to America if they hate us so much?

People of other countries get pissed at USA because America should just live and let live....case in point...whether we agree or disagree with the awful Taliban in Afghanistan, maybe that is the government that the people there want...sure it doesnt give women any rights, etc, etc...but if that is what they chose....then why force a Western style democracy on them? Why does the US interefere so much? Is it because they want to help others so much? Or are there ulterior motives? The US has supported dictators for years in other countries....The tally for the War in Iraq is 390 Billion so far and the White House is asking for another $265 Billion over 2 years....what a waste of good American Taxpayers money!
Why not just look after yourself and let others look after thier own business. I feel sorry for the 45 million Americans who are scared to get sick cuz they cant afford healthcare. Every Canadian has good healthcare paid by the government. The war in Iraq was nonsence...if Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, he would have used them!
Psst: You make the best movies, have the best lots of stuff, and certainly the cutest girls.....partly we are jealous....the best people from most of countries go there to live...I used to live near Pamela Anderson on Vancouver Island....the world does distinguish between American people and American foreign policy...don't take it personally...when the big war comes..with maybe China..we will be on your side! We just would rather not bother with some as*hole lick Saddam....looking out for yourself might also include controlling your borders better.

100,000 people are homeless due to Flooding and storms in Indonesia. A Muslim country that typically hates us. Last year during Katrina a lot of these people made a point of saying it was "SISTER KATRINA The Soldier Of Islam" that did it. We on the other hand are sending aid and in the news we do not even mention the nation is ISlamic. More countries hated us during the Vietnam war, we cannot pretend we are are American Idol Contestants we need to go on as we see fit.

Yes , It bothers me that other countries hate us. We are in foreign countries right now with our military, that we should not be in (IRAQ).
The more hated we are sets us us for another major attack. We need our troops at home and stay in our own business and not "trying to fix others" that don't truly want it.
We are the last country that should set up a voting system for anyone eles. Our has shown easy to tamper with or Misread. But yet we have the nerve to help others with voting.... YEAH RIGHT.
I support our troops just not keeping them over their to be slaughtered.
Jealous of what? The fact that our idiot president, is sending more troops to die so that he can say HE WASNT WRONG. Or jealous that we are spending tax dollars to make him look powerful.
He gets huge raises and gives the seniors a small cost of living increase of what 4 % When added up is like 10 or 11 dollars, That does not even cover up how much the heating costs went up, let alone groceries.
Or maybe that he lied to get the troops over their saying they had weapons of mass destruction that they didnt Just one of his lies.........
The reason they all want to come here is our government will give them housing, food stamps and medical. And their counrty wont......... Yeah thats what we need more worthless people that wont work. I think the US has that one covered already.

Yes, there is no perfect country.
The problem is your press and medias which undermine and even insult the countries and population when they are not in line with your ideas, many american politicians do publicly as well and are followed by the ignorants and/or easy convinced.
I have also felt the same kind of hate when travelling and forced to meet.. let say Anglo-Saxon people... because I am french.
it s slightly painful but we get used to it, it is your turn now.
bon courage !

Read Hatreds Kingdom by Dore Gold. Much of the fury against us is actively orchestrated by the globalists, secular progressives, communists, and Wahhabis and Jihadists. They provoke us (9-11 for example) and then screech and posture when we take what I thought was a pretty restrained response considering. We can never win with these people. And we have to respond to the violent elements of anti-American groups, so, I say: turn the military loose and respond to them in clear language they can understand. Track their bad @$$es down and kill them wherever we can find them, and don't worry if it ----es them off. They were ----ed off before we started.

We give a higher priority to ensuring our safety. We are committed to preventing another 9/11 attack. We are committed to ensuring the spread of democracy and freedom. I wonder what they thought of the corruption with the French and Russian government getting kickbacks from Sodom Hussein's oil for food program. What do they feel that militant islamist are in their country planning ist attacks if their government does anything that they don't like.

Well said. Yes, I care what other countries think of us to some extent. When it comes to the point of attempting to protect ourselves from groups who want to attack and destroy the US and our friends (like Britain, Japan, Canada, Australia, etc.), I begin to care less and less.

I agree man, I mean no country is PERFECT, And as much as they want to remind us of everything wrong we do, they have to remember that they all are so far from being upstanding countries.
