If you have a good idea, and you have the skills to get someone to finance your venture, then go for it.....how much capital or money do you need to sell hotdogs? Not much.

Yes.
I know people operating businesses with only a city business license and a few hand tools.
All you need is a service or product someone else values enough to give you something in exchange.
Some municipalities require a business license. That is all.
However, you might want to build your business so you have some capital to improve your service, maybe register it as corporation if you requre that, insurance, etc.
.
The more complex your business becomes, the more capital it requires to build the infrastructure required and increase production.

open a consultancy if you are expert in any area, go to customer place and give advises, your own PC/laptop is the only requirement, and you must be having a phone and a car already !! There are various consultancy businesses which does not require big investments. For an example I am a Java Software Testing Consultant and I don't have any office. I use my laptop , Internet, car, home and customer's office for any meetings/consultancy. Where there is a will there is a way !!

hi dear
i m also not a expert but i can say that for sure that u can start a bussiness without any capital
u need just some people who are also wanting to advertise their productsand are new in their bussiness
boorrow the things on the basis that if u could sale those products u will give them the money and if u will not be able to sale those products they will be given them to their owners back
whatever u sale
sale them on marginal profit
it will be better if u would get in the field of luxary items like.......
decorative items etc.......

You can. It's just a little harder. With the internet, it is possible to work a business out of your home.

Yes. I did. It take a lot of backbone and elbow grease. But, if you stick with, it will be a success.
