well, most famous movie site, would be imdb.com which someone else already recommended. simply because it's complete, featuring not just Hollywood movies but foreign and independent films as well..

i love imdb, but it depends on what you would call a "movie site". There's a lot of movie sites you can google, but most of them are just reviews...

If you want interactive-ness, I strongly suggest you try Flixster. (www.flixster.com) I love this site. You'll have your own page, you can rate all the movies you've watched and based on your ratings, they'll feature people you have same taste in movies with, and you can add them as friends if you like.

They have this tagline, "stop watching bad movies" and personally, that actually worked for me. Also, I've seen a lot of great movies I never thought I'd be interested in, just because a lot of my "flixster friends" had recommended them for me to watch. Seriously a great site for movie addicts.

you can go to my page if you want. ^_^

IMDB is the most thorough one, I think. It has info on all the movies, though not always as much info about the plot or good reviews as I would like.
