I am not sure what genre you're looking for, but when I see the combination of "summer" and "chilled out" in a sentence I think of the following:
Airwave (sunset chillout remix) - Rank 1
Beyond Time (Ambient mix) - Blank & Jones
Saltwater (Mothership mix) - Chicane
Offshore (Ambient mix) - Chicane
I'm Raving (DJ Taucher remix) - Scooter
Cafe del Mar (Michael Woods Ambient mix) - Energy 52
These are songs that give you the feeling of those summer nights, after having been out to the club. Whenever I go out clubhopping in the summer we usually end up at the beach at around 6 in the morning, a friend of mine has a beach club and we would just sit and relax, with some cocktails, the fire going on the table fireplace, lounging on the sofa's watching the sunrise, listening to tunes like that.

well im not sure about summer tunes but there's these great songs by "Citizen Cope." Which are so beautiful to listen too!! Their called "Sideways" and "Son's Gonna Rise." Sideways is the kinda song you can listen to over and over again! It's definatly a great song. So yeah....

It's hard to beat "Hot Fun in the Summertime" by Sly and the Family Stone. An oldie, but definitely a goodie!
