I have video taken from the air and ground and would like to edit it into a short video with some music.

Jan Hammer's music by far would be a creative and great choice for a Grand Canyon video, yep, that's what I'd use.

How about excerpts from the "Grand Canyon Suite" by Frede Grofe. My personal favorite is movement 3 entitled "On The Trail". Whenever I hear that piece I picture, in my mind's eye, the mules on the Bright Angel trail making their way down to the canyon floor.
