I have just come out of a long term relationship and am going out enjoying myself. I have slept with a couple of friends of mine on a no strings arrangement, is it really so bad to do this when i'm not hurting anyone?

The first rule of pulling

1) Assume they wont call (so as long as ur ok with it being no strings do what you want)

So if you are ok with things being no strings, the poeple you are sleeping with are ok with it, and you're not hurting anyone (and this involves other friends) then why not. As long as it's safe sex then why not. You're in good compnay lol.

Are you using protection? If not you could be hurting yourself. If you are and you know you are not hurting anyone then that is your choice. It is good that you are not coming out of a serious relationship and jumping right into another one. Go out and have fun but do be careful, sometimes we regret our actions. How do your friends feel? Sometimes you may think there are no strings attached and your friends may be feeling different. So you have to be careful with not hurting their feelings if they think something more may come out of it. Go out and enjoy yourself but be careful not only for yourself but those who are around you. If you have any feelings of guilt then stop what you are doing. And dont jump right back into a serious relationship until you are ready. Good luck!

I cant see anything wrong with it at all!!! If you have an arrangement with your friends to do that - and they are happy with it. Also, I guess it would be perfectly normal for you to want to break out abit after being in a long term relationship, so if youre happy and theyre happy - GO FOR IT!

Its not bad but will you hurt yourself in the long run? Peace of mind and company are great things but should this become a regular thing you may loose the respect of your freinds. When you need a freind to turn to its always best to be able to turn to an unbiased person and not some one who may sto pbeing your freind after a night of fun. Do what you are comfortable with.

But you are hurting someone dear, yourself !!! you are subconciously torturing yourself for your relationship breakdown. You wont agree of course, but in the long run you may get a reputation that you dont like..and bad pennies have the knack of turning up when you least expect it.

its not bad, its just not good either.

the words good and bad are respective terms. They only have meaning in respect to what your ideals and morals are and onwhat kind of person you aspire to be and whats important to you.

if you are someone who feels that sex and love should go together, then what you are doing is not great.

If you are someone whose main concern is to enjoy yourself and be free with your sexuality, then what you are doing is conducive to that.

If you want to follow Christian doctrine then it is bad. If you are an atheist , it doesnt matter.

The truth is, you need to live by your own ideals. If its good to you, then its nobody else's business.

No, as long as youre being careful and the other person knows the way things are so they dont expect any more than youre willing to give. Have fun!

I don't see any problems with that, provided both parties are aware of the circumstances (i.e., you are 'fu*ck buddies, and not lovers/partners etc.), or that you are destroying any other relationships by sleeping with an already 'taken' partner.

I trust you are taking suitable precautions against pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases?

The answer to your question is actually in your question! You say you are *enjoying* yourself... So long as you can honestly say your actions are making you happy, I say go out and get them!!
