yes, have done it a few times.... just woke up and i could see clearly which was a bit different to the usual blurry sight when i open my eyes! my eyes were very dry, just squirted some fluid and they were fine. apparently it can cause problems though.

I have on many a night when I was younger. I would just pour some saline in the eye to let the eye get moist again. Then take the contact out soak it in saline for a few hours. after that I cleaned them, popped them back in and was off th another party.
Oh, to be young again......

As they were Accuvue Soft, no problem, but check with your eye doctor to really see the endurance of the lens.....I am not an expert......but a contact wearer for over 20 years....thanks.

I used to sleep in them and got a small eye ulcer. Not all of it cleared away. I take them off every night now. When I'd wake I would squish my eyes and pop one out without knowing. I would go crazy trying to find the contact in my bed half blind. It was priceless. lol

Well, difficulties in removing the lenses occur only rarely.....Many a times even I forget to remove the lenses. But yes...Afetr all If this continues quite frequently, there are chances of deterioration of ur eyesight ie frequent blurring, etc.....

My ex always forgot because he usually passed out first. This was before disposables. It didn't do anything. as far as I know but then again he was hungover.

I don't think that forgetting to take them out once will hurt.
