I do not believe the elections were rigged. You can ask the question all you like, but the simple fact is no proper evidence has ever been presented, and no charges have been filed to support these claims. Let me ask you a question now. Do you honestly believe that everyone in the Democratic machine is so lame and disconnected that they could not sniff out such wide spread corruption and bring investigations to prove it if the really believed this was true? Do you honestly believe that all Republicans are so dishonest as a group that they would not have a problem with this also if they knew? I am not trying to denigrate you or anyone else who believes this, I am just saying that common sense does not support your position. We should ask these questions I guess, but they are damaging the political system in this country because we have now opened Pandora's box and many people will never trust a presidential election result again, no matter whether it is Republican or Democrat.

he might have but i seriously doubt he rigged the 2000 election.
what really disturbed me was Al Gore and his plan to "steal the election back"
Al was not in favor of recounting all the votes in Florida, he only wanted to recount 5 counties with a severe majority of democrat voters.
Any errors in those vote totals would automatically go for him by the law of averages.
It is very likely had his very selective recount gone forward he would have had the votes needed to win but that would definitely not have been indicative of how the entire state of Florida voted and how it's electoral college votes should have gone.
The Supreme Court correctly ruled that Al by trying to selectively recount only certain districts was violating the rights of the rest of the residents of the state and sent it back to the Florida Appellate Court to settle. However there was no time left for another court case, Florida law required that the results we had at that point in time be certified.
It always amuses me that Bush's haters say he stole the election and they lament how Al Gore got robbed.
What really probably happened is Bush won a very close electoral victory while losing the popular vote and narrowly surviving Al Gores attempt to STEAL the election.
Being a Libertarian it kinda makes me chuckle

w. bush did not rig it. he's not that smart. no longer being smart is why others rigged it for him. it truly is extra ordinary to convince a dumb president to promote out the country than a wise one. Jim Baker between the marketing campaign brains certain a bush victory shortly after the Florida polls closed. it truly is even as no human being else contained in the country change into constructive of the proper result. He knew because they rigged the election with assistance from dissallowing the votes in black factors of Florida which frequently voted Democratic. That change into the version contained in the election. even as Congressmen objected to the election outcomes even as certifying the elctoral college they needed the help of one unmarried Democratic Senator for the objection to be seen. Al Gore as vice chairman change into presiding. No Democratic Senator supported a unmarried objection. the reason why they did not change into because Al Gore requested them now to not. He gave up the Presidency so the country would not be torn assunder over the subsequent 4 months and be devoid of any president except Clinton remained previous his time period. for this reason Gore deserved the Nobel Peace Prize, inspite of what else he did. the U. S. ultimate court docket change into full of Republicans, Scalia is a own chum of the Bush kinfolk and Clarence Thomas's spouse worked for the bush marketing campaign. both must have reclused themselves from judgements affecting the election. they did not. So what occurred to this united states of america then? 911 because bush not in any respect met with Richard Clark who ought to have advised him about the prospect. Deregulation of Banking and Wall highway that brought about our economic equipment to crash and burn. A ineffective war that made Haliburton evern richer and over 4000 youthful individuals lifeless with tens of thousands extra wounded. it is the bush legacy and that i'm constructive if Gore had common how issues ought to have became out, he ought to have allowed some Senator to help the objection to the election outcomes. we may were lots more effective for it. and those youthful who died, ought to were elevating households now.

i don't see how he could! He has proved he isn't that smart in the last 3 years, so he isn't smart enough to have successfully rigged an election.

wow alot of hateful answers in here. What is amazing is what big of jerks you people can be! Oh no, someone with a different opinion than me! Why be mean?. When people ask a question they want an answer not hate messages. and in my opinion yes he did, i mean he threw a fit over Florida's votes saying that they did it wrong, weird, now as far as the 2004 no he did not, the people didn't want a new president during a war, so they voted for him fair, what amazes me tho is that i hear that everybody hates the man and i just sit there and think if everybody hates this guy why is he president? Does make you think a lil bout it huh?

For a man being accused of being so dumb, how can anyone think he could pull that off. The country just got done with 8 years of a nothing President. His running mate , who assisted in doing nothing ran against Bush. The only thing surprising was how close it was.
