I don't entirely agree with you. I know plenty of people that are perfectly happy having as less responsiblity as possible, hence a lot less stress. One of my co-workers has been here for 20 years, and she wants to stay where she's at.

of course everyone wants to be promoted to the higher position. name one who wants to be in the same position forever? to be promoted means things including higher salary!!!
