Do you like Valentines day? Or do you think it is a marketing ploy?? Personally, I think it is a ridiculous excuse for a holiday. But if I owned Hallmark I would certainly change my mind!!

Oh no I didn't mean holiday as in get the day off, I just meant as in celebrated and so on. I'm in Australia too. I wish we got the day off.

no i hate it. its overrated.
but i guess im just bitter..because i dont have the one i desperately long for.
it did give me an excuse to make a romantic graphic for my dream man. thats the good thing about it.
everytime it gets close, i think "Great. Im already depressed on normal days. Just think how many tears im gonna cry on V-Day."
its also boring and pointless. whoever invented the holiday, why do they have to torture us dreamers so?

LOL yeah that would be great if we all got the day off...check out some of the e-cards at Hallmark of Hoops and Yoyo...you may not change your mind but at least you will have a belly laugh in the process...no I do not work for or own Hallmark...LOL I just love Hoops and Yoyo...LOL

No...I hate it most when someone asks me "do you celebrate today"? It is not only a marketing ploy but also the hapiness of chatterboxes...When you enter in a shop, you buy something for your sweetie absolutely (they say)...And if they don't know him, they start searching...O.M.G...!!!
Though, as this day exist, I would love it if my boyfriend would offer my a flower. Just that. I am a woman, after all. :)
