I have mine done twice on both ears and i got mine done the same day. I think this piercing hurts less than lobe piercings. But that varies from person to person.
Ive had no trouble with mine. As long as you look after it and keep it clean you have nothing to worry about.

i got my cartilage peirced and i only cleaned it once a day i have never had any problems. ive had it in for a long time. so you shouldnt worry as long as you get it done professionally it will be cool
