Sasuke showed up in the manga/comic, had a fight with Naruto and Sakura, both of them lost the fight because he got so much stronger because he got some training from Orochimaru(the snake guy), but he escaped to his hideout after the fight and never showed up since then

Sasuke comes back from Orchimaru (snake guy) in eppie 34. There are 220 episodes in all but so far only up to eppie 72 has premiered in english.
