It is not no moon day. It is new moon day.

In astronomical terminology, the New Moon is the lunar phase that occurs when the Moon, in its monthly orbital motion around Earth, lies between Earth and the Sun, and is therefore in conjunction with the Sun as seen from Earth. At this time, the illuminated half of the Moon faces directly toward the Sun, and the dark or unilluminated portion of the Moon faces directly toward Earth, so that the Moon is invisible as seen from Earth.

when you say no moon, you already mean that you cannot see the moon so the answer is no you cannot see the moon. =.= But, the moon is always there up in the sky, only that when it's morning or afernoon, the sun is brighter than the moon so we cannot see it. And if it's a no moon day, we cannot see it because the sun's light shining on the other side of the moon while what we are facing is the darker side. So without light we cannot see the moon.

its always there!!! It just depends on whether the sun's light is reflecting upon it. The moon itself doesnt give out light. It is just an object that reflects the sunlight onto us! thats why you get half moons and stuff, it depends on what angle/how much the sun is reaching the moon.

there is no reflection of light(i.e from sun) in moon on no moon day so we cant see that but on other days we can see it becoz of it reflection of light from sun
