Both computers need a network card installed, which has a plug socket for a network cable. Plug the cable to both computers.

1. you should have lan card in your computers and a wire to connect
2. then them right click on network places icon and go to properties of TCP/IP
3. define automatically detect setting.
close it
4. right click on my computer icon.
5. define same work group name for both the computers.
and restart your computer now you can share your data and resourses.
