If the item you are looking to bid on is pay pal only, why not contact the seller (before bidding) and ask if they would be willing to asccept a Po, cheque, bankers draft etc. Or arrange purchase though a friend or family member who has pay pal.

Always remember however, do not bid on an item when you cannot meet the specified payment method unless you have got confirmation from the seller that they will be happy to accept an alternative method!

Why not visit the pay pal site for detaiuls of payment with mobiles etc.

Ebay is an online site, hun.

I'd recommend that you and your mom sign up for Paypal - you just need a chequing account and about a month's time.

After that, remember to read everything in the ads - and ask for shipping prices.

Use critical thinking, be a bit jaded (if it's too good to be true and all that), and you'll be fine!

I'm not aware of any way to pay via phone, however if you setup your Paypal account you can use a bank account (checking or savings both) as your primary funding source. Paying for items with Paypal will them automatically withdraw money from the bank account to pay for it.

Sure she can, if the seller accepts personal checks and money orders. Or she can set up a PayPal or a BidPay account using her savings or checking account or a debit card.
