I think your wife should be your best friend. Guys and girls usually enjoy different things and have different opinions and if you are enjoying a females time, attention, company and opinions (which is usually why you have a best friend) than why not your wife's?

It would really depend on your wife. If she is okay with it, then I would say, "Sure." However, it leaves the door open for her to have a male best friend. I would have to say that I would prefer that my husband have a male best friend, and I would respect him and have a female best friend. That way, if there are any moments of weakness, well, it would be far less easy to stray. I wouldn't want to take a chance on messing up something so important. Good luck.

Your wife should be your one and only best friend...yes you can have male friends.,some people used to say a male can have a healthy friendship with a female without any relationship...but who ever having these relationship pls."ask your own mind w/out cheating whether you have any special feelings lying under/dept of your heart."..99% of them could tell to their mind as YES cause of consequences (family of both or society or etc) they used to keep their feelings with them only...but if the chances are ok.., they become close enough to have EVEN physical relationship...HISTORY SPEAKS.

Dont listen to the MORONS that say you shouldn't hang out with a femal without your wife, that **** is some childesh immature SUPER jealous BS!! If you have a woman who is a very good friend and NOTHING more, then that should not be a problem, I've had g/f's before who had guys who had been there for them through some tough time, before I was there for her, and now was likea big brother to them, and they were best friends while we dated, it shouldn't be a problem if you're a mature and trusting couple.

honestly i think your wife should be your best friend. although i don't see a problem with you having friends of the opposite sex, as long as there is nothing sexual involved.(talking about sex, cyber sex you get the picture). you and your wife need to talk about it, and you need to take her feelings into consideration.
