Not only should you LET her, but you should make an event out of it! Getting ears pierced is a right of passage or little girls, and makes them feel like they are taking steps to make their own decisions. You should tell her you are proud of her for making the decision, explain the consequences, pain, and care involved afterwards, and tell her you will take her out for a nice lunch afterwards. Let your lil gem know how important she is.......and how very much she means to you. If I could, I would buy Emily some lovely pearl earrings!

if it's solely her choice and she's not feeling pressured by friends or whatever then i would say yes! it's her body. I had my ears pierced when i was 8 years old and i still have them and dont regret it at all (i'm 20 years old now). Just make sure she keeps the piercings clean (to prevent infection), and follows advice from the place where she gets them pierced.

I think so. I was about 6 when my mom took me to get my ears pierced. I think it looks sweet on a little girl (as long as she doesn't wear dangly earrings or big, inappropriate ones).

yes ofcorse, infact 6 year is the basic age of ear piercing!! and this time girl's skin os very soft, so she won't feel that much pain now but if u pierce her ears after 10, her skin will become a lil' harder than now and at that time she'll feel pain

Of course you should let her get her ears peirced..maybe it will give her a unique style and its actually a good thing to get your eears peirced at a young age because they heal faster..........when you get around 13 or 14 is when your ears start to not want to heal and of course the kids are out doing stuff so they get irretated SO I DEFINATLY say go for it ...... let her get her ears peirced..make it a learning lesson.........teach her how to keep them clean and what not........teach her responsability at a young age..........Good luck
