Is there any way to retrieve contact numbers from sim card, fed up with Nextel!!!?

I have a broken phone (I850) and since the service is getting worse and worse I am thinking of paying the fee to end my contract and moving to another company but don't want to lose my contact info. Can use my older phone with this sim card until I decide whether to replace the current phone through insurance but can't view my contacts. Just want to be able to view my numbers and change carriers at this point.

OK from what i get is your i850 broke but you have an older phone correct? if this is the Case use the other phone with the Sim there should be no problem as long as the other phone is also a 3 number phone(like the i850,i870,i205 you see the pater 3 numbers but it will not work with a i95,i95c and such that only have 2 numbers)If you have a data cable you can get all your contacts saved to your computer but unless the other phone you get is a Motorola you will only be able to read the numbers on the computer screen and transfer manually to the new phone.

There is probably an option in "settings" which will allow you to copy all info from the sim into the phone memory.

Otherwise go to your local cell phone store. Most of them have a machine which can transfer the data from the sim card into your current phone.
