WHY WOULD YOU LOSE POINTS ,ITS A PERFECTLY VALID QUESTION.
my personal belief on gods, and i use the plural in context is that all the people of the earth have the right to believe in any god they choose,we each of us carry around our god, some choose a spiritual god, whilst others choose a physical god an example would be the pursuit of money, chasing the funky dollar bill.
my god is personal to me and not to be shared, unless you ask.

I would have to say that I disagree with both of the previous answerers. There is only one God and that is the God of the Bible. The way that we can know this is through justice. We live in this imperfect world and sometimes people get away with their crimes. With the God of the Bible, no crime goes unpunished. God laid down the law in the book of Exodus through Moses, the ten commandments. We have all broken those laws, and therefore deserve nothing but eternal punishment; kind of like jail if you do something wrong on earth. The only way to satisfy this judgement while staying just is to have someone take our place and our punishment. Hence, Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross for our sins, ressurecting the third day. There is ample evidence for this event. (the source I posted) Because he died on the cross, our sins were payed for, and all we have to do now is repent (a word that nobody seems to like but just means to turn away from sin) believe and follow Jesus Christ.

Thank you.

Since you had lower case g, you mean mythology. I have always adored Isis, the Egyptian goddess. She was born a mortal woman but she had magic. She created a snake that bit Ra, the sun god. It made him sick. She promised to cure him if he made her a goddess. So he whispered his real name in her ear and she became a goddess. She cured him of the snake bite but he never liked her. Isis married Osirus. They had a child named Horus who was half bird. Osirus was killed by his brother who nailed him in a box and put the box in the Nile. Isis convinced the other gods to bring her husband back to life, but he had to stay in the land of the dead helping with the souls of the dead.
