check out this page, it has all the answers and makes interesting reading. The overall conclusion is that Love will make us do some quite alarming things...!! Love IS as much a drug as any other 'stimulant' .... (which includes chocoloate hmm yummy)

The "falling in loveness" causes a chemical reaction in the brain releasing endorphins, so yes it will be like a drug stimulus.
