first simplify before doing difficult operations

divide by 5 ---> (45/4) y^4 =1

this yields y^4 = 4/45 = 0.08889 s ---->y^4 = 0.088889

this is equivalent to y = (0.08889)^1/4

If you have a very simple machine you can take twics the square root

With the canculatrice of my PC
I enter the number,
press x^y
enter 1/4= 0.25
and i have the result 0.546

Enter "225"

Press the " y^x " button*

Press ".25" (or for something not obvious, 14/23 say, enter "(", "14", "÷", "23" and ")" )

Press Enter

*Any scientific calculator has a y-to-the-x button.
