Personally, I'm getting sort of sick of Black History Month.

We keep learning about the same dead people, over and over.

Apparently black people haven't done anything worthy of recognition for about 40 years.

Same for Hispanic History Month.

If we're going to have a month of celebration for a certain race, can we atleast celebrate people who are alive and helping society and all that good stuff?

Well, white people don't exactly have an ethnic culture--black people do. We celebrate black history month, because we have a culture and because we changed American history. And it will keep changing, whites will be the minority in 8 or 9 years--and you still won't have your own month.

Why not have a whole month devoted to native Americans.
