There's usually a firmware update that will unlock the region coding on the drive. It wouldn't come from the manufacturer's site so you'll have to poke around and do some googling. It will be specific to your model drive so make sure to get the right one but it will remove the limit on region changes.
If you can't find one then try to get a legitimate firmware update from the manufaturer. That will at least reset the number of changes back to 5. You can run the same firmware flash as many times as necessesary to keep bringing it back to 5

You can play DVDs from any region on your PC’s DVD drive, if you’re willing to take the risk that a botched firmware upgrade may render your drive unusable. First, you need to make the drive itself region-free, which is done courtesy of a firmware upgrade. The walkthrough explains how. After flashing, run Nero InfoTool again and check that RPC I instead of RPC II is listed under Drive Features.
You’ll also need to bypass software protection, which requires a third-party tool. One free tool is DVD Genie (www.inmatrix.com): each time you insert a DVD from a different region, one of your five permitted software changes will be used up. The program enables you to reset the number of changes back to five for most popular software players.
If you’re unable to find firmware for your DVD drive, or you’d rather not make the modification, go to www.dvdidle.net/dvd-region-free.htm, which will enable you to bypass region protection at a one-off cost of $40.

Obtain a copy of SlySoft's AnyDVD. It will bypass region code checks as well as most copy protection on all discs inserted. It does this in the background and you don't have to do anything.

use one of these players that doesn't care about your DVD region:
http://mpui.sourceforge.net/ (MPUI - the one I use majority of the time, plays anything!)
http://www.videolan.org/ (VLC - I mainly use it when mpui isn't loud enough)
