does 1/4 means quarter? and 1/5 means half? how big are they?

are they good for a necklace? and is 3/8 bigger?

please explain

these all are taken as base of 1 carat.
in sequence from bigger to smaller:
3/8,1/4 and 1/5.

All small size as far as carat size goes. 1/4 carat being the largest of the three, ok for earring size or a necklace, but as for an engagement ring at least 1/2 carat is acceptable. The main thing is buy what u can afford, no matter the size. It should be appreciative by the receiver.

its not the size, yet to respond to your question any ingredient over 5" is stable yet once you have a stable woman she would be ready to tell you which you're all she needs ,and so some distance as what females desire ...nicely it relies upon i admire my guy for how he loves me decrease back, so if he had a 4" and knows the thank you to artwork it, then it fairly is not appropriate, i'm going to nonetheless love him
