There is no way to get out to get my dvd back to Blockbuster. Heck, my wheelchair gets stuck in the doorway because the snow is coming down faster than the plowers can plow. Sssooooo, what will Blockbuster do to me if I cannot get the movie back a week later than it is supposed to be back? Will they reposess my house? Oh, I forgot, I rent an apartment. Can they reposess my apartment that I rent? Be cool.

If you can't get it back within one week of the due date. They autosales to your account. Then you have one month after the due date to get it back. If you get it back within that one month, then they charge you a restocking fee, Usually $1.25. If you don't get it back within 30 days after the due date, they make you buy it.

I think the way it works is for every week you dont bring it back they, will charge a percentage of the cost to replace the DVD to what ever credit card you showed when you signed up.

If you bring it back next week, all charges will be dropped and you will only have to pay a restocking fee....somewhere in the $1.40 range.

You should try Net-flicks or BB own home delivery service.

Well if you have a credit card on file with them, which I wouldn't reccommend, but seems like the only method for getting a mambership, they'll simply bill you on your cc for the cost of the movie until you can return the movie. Call them and explain to them you have limited mobility and that it's hard for you to get to the store.

They should be understanding enough to give you extra time to get the movie back. If they do charge you however, as soon as you get the movie back to them ask them to give you a credit back on your cc, and they will. No worries guy.

If your store participates in the "no late fee" program you have so many days to return the disc. If you fail to return it in the allotted time your rental is converted to a sale, IE you bought it. Blockbuster.com has more details but I can't link directly to any answers.
