While in Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" then "Internet Options". You will be on the "General" tab. Pushing the "Clear History" button will remove the previously visited sites from the drop-down list. While you're there, go to the "Content" tab, click "AutoComplete", then uncheck "Web Addresses." This will prevent it from filling in as you type URLs, which also can give away recently visited websites. (ex: Starting to type "www.ya" may autocomplete to "www.yardman.com" when you intended to visit "www.yahoo.com")

The only way I know of is to erase the whole history... and maybe next time you should just stay off of those sites! Tools->Internet Options->Clear History->OK. Understand, though, that there are people who use the history (me, included) to find things they've seen on-line but didn't save anywhere. Once you erase the history, people (your parents) will be able to see that it's been done and may want to know why. Of course, there is a back door through which they will be able to see where you've been. Good luck with that.

You should clean your history. Go to control panel -> internet options -> General - Clean History. Or something like that, my Windows in not in English so the names may vary a bit. I hope this helps!

Delete it from your history, and it will disappear from the address bar.
I recommend Firefox for the best browsing experience and security.
