I'm going to give you a hypothetical situation.
Say Kelly has a myspace. And on her myspace she has a Top24.
Most of her Top24 are the so called 'cooler' friends of her friends.
And none of those people in her Top24 have Kelly in their Top24.
And when she does happen to show up in a topfriends list (not often). She is generally at the very bottom of a large list.
What does this make you think about Kelly?
Personally, I think she is pathetic, in a friend-leeching sort of way.

I should add that I don't think SHE is pathetic (that was a typo). I just think what she's doing is pathetic.
Because like many of you say.. Its just myspace.
So why is it so important for Kelly to appear popular for people who don't give a damn about her anyway?
Not only that, but her close friends, who are her school's 'geeks' and 'nerds' don't even make her top friends list. Its like she's ashamed of them.
It bothered me, because while she is my friend, we're not exactly close, and she has me near the top because I'm considered 'cool'.

I think Kelly is maybe trying to hard to be cooler than cool, that theres a certain crowd she is wanting to belong in, and she probably does belong, she just doesnt realize it yet. and if her top 24 are her favorites then thats her business, that doesnt mean she has to be in there top 24, she can feel how she want to feel about these people and they have the right to feel how they want to feel also. do they seem to have a problem with being in her top 24? Does it bother them or you?

Come on... I mean its cool to get a myspace to find a few new friends, but to spend the time to add everyone you can and build thousands of friends is just pathetic...and to make the top 24 out of a bunch of people that really dont seem to care much or know much of "kelly", I would have to agree... Keep closer friends on there

I think Kelly is like everyone else in the world. She is just living and trying to get by. I don't see a problem. She isn't hurting anyone. Who cares what position anyone is on a friend's list??!? Worry more about the real problems of the world: starvation, abuse, murder

that happens to ppl all the time.
at least they didn't reject her friends request.
you know they added her so she still has hope.
i know this girl whom everyone rejected in my school.
i do care if i'm on my close friends top friends list but i don'T care about others.
it's just myspace after all
