what is the best ipod...?

i'm looking to buy something that i can download 1000's of songs. id like to be able to d/l books and movies too. Is my best choice an ipod? i apprieciate any advice or information

then buy ipod video. you can upgrade it with memory card. find something than ipod. its not so good actually
