Anything, or some things? I'm not sure I would say I would do ANYTHING even for someone I did love. But perhaps what you really want to ask is: if someone says they will do anything for you, doesn't that prove they love you? To me, it would, unless they either have some altruistic martyr complex or some unique religious trip.
To me, love means wanting to make someone else's live better, to make them feel good. And it can apply to people you don't know in some limited altruistic sense of "all mankind," or some category subset. But real personal love is something that necessarily requires wanting to do good for that person. But that's a far cry from being willing to do anything, even compromise my own moral principles.

offcourse not.
If i didnt love that person im not willing to do ANYTHING for them, I'd be willing to do some things that would help them out but not anything, not the things that would risk my happiness or the happiness of people i truly love.

yes why not... if you dont love a person that doesn't mean that you dont do him nthn u must be good with all people.. but dont do him everything... he will not be a specail person as the one u love.
