It would be much appreciated if there are points for both questions.

In a perfect world, we would all agree that every animal should be free to live in its natural habitat. However, this is far from being a perfect world.

So, don't forget that legitimate zoos are also centres of research into many aspects of wildlife, including protecting and preserving many of the world's most endangered species (the Panda springs most to mind). So, without zoos, perhaps we could argue that many animals would have been lost to un-natural extinction long before now.

Living in a zoo is just an animal's place to go to work. Let me explain... I would personally like to just get up and roam freely and have nothing to answer to. However, then I would be considered homeless, and probably crazy. I work to have a nice home. Animals live in a zoo, mostly under very good conditions. In the wild, who knows what their chances are. Would a dog rather run in a pack, knocking over garbage cans, or to live in someone's home, being loved and given three squares a day. Just because an animal is in a zoo, doesn't mean they are unhappy.

I think that there IS a place in this world for zoos. I would like to see more injured animals and less "captured" ones. Those animals that cannot survive in the wild SHOULD be taken care of - in as natural a setting as possible - and studied. We need to know how the different species, especially endangered ones, procreate, live and socialize. So, more animals in need at those zoos, less "captured" animals, more "realistic" and natural zoos with plenty of room, AND the right to arm the deer and moose out there being hunted!!! :)

No because zoos does help in preventing animals from being hunt down or extinct.
Yes because those animals never felt happy in cages in the first place.

But I suggest that perhaps zoos should still be open but they need to change the way they do certain things or handling animals.

zoos are good because they help in research on how to help them, also they are safe!!but i disagree with them being in cages, they should be allowed to roam freely and we as visitors should be fenced out!!
animals all around the world are being killed for their fur or tusks so if they're free they may be killed!!!stop buying fur products or ivory!!!look down on fur coats fight for their rights!!!DON"T BUY ANIMAL PRODUCTS!!is that so hard to understand!!??
i'd like to see animals set free but to do that we have to change and we have to help so that they can be free!!!only,we as people can do that!!
