1) in physics
2) in mechanics
3) in mathematics

5) in optics

BUT i don't know how many exactly

Sir Isaac Newton gave the three laws of motion and the law of gravitational.
Newton's law of motion:
a)Newton's 1st law of motion stated that a mass will remain in static and if it moving, it will moves with a constant velocity when there are no other 'external' force acting on that mass body.

b)Newton's 2nd law of motion 'external' force acting on a body will cause the body to accelerate in the force direction. F=ma.

c)Newton's third law of motion stated that every action will have a reaction with same magnitude and opposite direction.

Newton's gravitational law
g=(GM)/r^2. where G=6.67*10^(-11) Nm^2/kg^2. M=mass of earth. r=the distance the other mass is from the centre of the earth.
notice that in actual life, g value is not exactly 9.81m/s^2. it depends on the r value.

beside that, we can rearrange this equation to calculate the force acting between two masses.

For physics, Newton gave 4 main laws, 3 of motion and 1 of gravitation. I don't know there are how many laws he invented for mathematics.

Newton's greatest achievement was his work in physics and celestial mechanics, which culminated in the theory of universal gravitation. By 1666 Newton had early versions of his three laws of motion. He had also discovered the law giving the centrifugal force on a body moving uniformly in a circular path. However he did not have a correct understanding of the mechanics of circular motion.

Lets See.
- Law of Gravity
- 3 laws of motion
- And he discovered white light was made up of different colours.

I think these are the main ones.

I think there are 5 laws
they are
three popular laws of motion,
the law of gravitation,
and the law about viscosity.
