I'm really excited. The baby is definitely unplanned and my husband is in total shock. But my question is does anyone know of any really good websites I can get some good info off of? I'm already in contact with my doctor and she will obviously be able to answer many of my questions. I'm really looking for a site with some good articles, a pregnancy timeline (week by week sort of thing), and maybe some chats to talk to other expectant moms. Let me know of any you know of and liked. I looked around but was a little dissappointed by what I was able to find.

BTW- I'm approx 5 wks along.

Someone already posted the babycenter link but I thought that I would mention that this is my favorite website. I'm due in April and I love the April 2007 birthboard. It puts me in touch with hundreds of other mothers who are experiencing the same things that I am. They also send you a weekly update and tell you how your pregnancy is progressing, have lots of information, and tons of bulletin boards as well as some chats. I admit, I'm a Babycenter addict and I truly love the awesome information and support I have found on there. I'm Brandiemomof4+ on the April 2007 board. Hope to see you around. Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

When I first found out I was pregnant, I went on all kinds of sites and registered if it was free.

babycenter.com is good. I like that one because they email me every week and has information on what is going on with my baby, as well, as myself, on that particular week. They also have this Video Library where you can watch real videos on real pregnant women giving birth. They're pretty graphic but I love that kind of stuff. It helps me to prepare for when my time comes, and also, they're really informative and you learn a lot. The videos are pretty educational. They talk about epidurals and c-sections and pret-term labor and all that kind of stuff that is good to learn when you're pregnant.

pampers.com is good, too. They have this thing called the Parent Pages, and just like babycenter.com, they have a pregnancy calender where they email you every week and you can read about what is currently going on with your baby and yourself during that week. And sometimes, they have real pictures or ultrasounds of what your baby may look like at that time.

Also try...
baby.com.
huggiesbabynetwork.com

There are a lot of good ones. I forget how I came across those sites. I even signed up for some free stuff and actually got a free Huggies packet in the mail. They gave me a free diaper sample, free baby lotion and shampoo sample, and a free disposable washcloth!

Good luck and congratulations!

baby2see.com and for future reference go to google and type expecting moms live chat, and that should give you a website to chat with moms to be. the website above is to see your baby growth week by week, it has everything the due date calculator, the time line, even an ovulation calculator. I'm sure you will be pleased with this site.

Good Luck!

I like the website i-am-pregnant.com It tells you what you are feeling what is going on with your body and how the baby is doing as to what is forming this week and how big he or she is getting. It also has a section for twins if you are having twins. Also at the bottom of each week page you can share with other pregnant women how you are feeling and ask others questions. they also have vip pages for you to further share the joy of your pregnancy.

My sister uses www.huggies.com.au

It has open regular chat with all the time lines, from pregnancy to small children.

I think it kept her sane for most of the pregnancy :)
