'Nnamsco" had an interesting response:

"From the virgin's perspective...", I think more to the point his response is "From the chauvinistic male virgin's perspective..."

The correct answer to your question is obviously not,

I haven't researched this, so all I can go by is my experience. And in my experience, which includes attracting a lot of virgin girls, I have noticed some trends:

1. Virgins are usually less sociable than their peers. This is greater with age. People who are more social meet more sexual prospects and so have more oppurtunites to have sex with people. If a girl pretty much spends her free time reading and watching TV alone in her home, high chance of her being a virgin.

2. Since virgin tend to be less social, they often lack social grace more so than their sexually active peers. Because of thier inexperience, they are often nervous around the opposite sex. So they clam up or ramble on and on about nothing. They fidget when they talk to you and are less comfortable being touched.

3. Since virgin spend less time and energy on socialization and romance, they use that time and energy for other things. They may be workaholics or straight "A" students who study all night. They may be intensely interested in hobbies that they can do by themselves, such as collecting, video games and all sorts of art. If a grown person blows hundreds of dollars at a time on video games or own 25,000 comic books, there's a better than average likelihood of virginity.

4. The females I've dealt with who remain virgin well past the norm often have some unpleasant experiences that act as deterrents. If a girl was raped, molested, regularly beaten or something like that, she'll probably take longer to be comfortable with the physical and emotional closeness in a sexual relationship. I once was about to have sex with a girl when she suddenly broke out into tears because it reminded her about when she was raped as a child.

That about all I can recollect at the moment. But if you'd like an example, you should watch the movie "The 40 year old Virgin". That guy definitely has 1, 2 and 3 going.

There are.

From the virgin's perspective, the fact that he or she is a virgin gives him or her the boldness to belong and profess her integrity to friends and family. From the non virgin's perspective, the fear is created, that at a point in time she may wonder back on his or her past sexual intercourse with her friends, the trouma of being sexually additive, contacting HIV virus, destroying her woumb through abortions, loosing husbands that may think her to be virtous, inability to bear children when the time comes and others, may create the psychological problems that would not be experienced by the virgin.

They are not ...Bold or Happier!
They shy away from sexual connotations, innuendo etc...
They avoid it and pretend they know.
You can spot them when you discuss sex.
Happier, i don't think so, shy, probably.
Worried, yes....
I wouldn't put them down though.
